Tyree Cobbins
About:
Meisner trained, Tyree has played roles in comedy and drama, both on stage and in front of the camera. He played Clark in the lead role of independent film The Yellow Sign. Tyree played the role of Elijah in season one of award winning independent series Love Undone, where he will be returning to reprise his role in season two. His early works include the role of suspected killer Fred Case in the murder mystery The Dark Web. He's also brought his talents to the horror genre playing a synicle gentleman in Invasive Species.
Tyree trained at the Actors Workshop of Ithaca in the Meisner technique. He excelled and was asked to assistant teach his class after he graduated. He received his theater degree from SUNY Broome where he learned skills such as jazz dance and both the Alexander and Stanislavski techniques.
While training Tyree played one of his more personal roles, Russel in the play Gray Matter. He graced the stage of the famous Hangar Theater playing Pierre in the comedy Cafe De'Automatique. He was honored to be a part of the inaugural Ithaca Fringe Festival where he played the lead in the role of Wesley in The Lightning Gap.
During his senior year of high school Tyree would take the bus after school to the next town over and train in professional wrestling. To this day he still gets in the ring from time to time on the independent circuit. Tyree looks forward to telling more stories on network television and feature films soon.
