Ty Brents

My name is Ty Brents, and I am currently a second-year student attending my dream college, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I am studying digital photography. My goal is to one day travel the globe capturing images of animals, specifically endangered species like the African Elephant, Cheetah, Black Rhino, and Grévy’s Zebra, in their natural habitats. I intend to use the images that I capture to raise awareness for the endangered species. I want to study animals in the African savanna ecosystem ‐ the Savanna Biome, the largest Biome in southern Africa, occupies forty‐six percent of Africa’s area and is over one‐third of South Africa. I really cannot wait to use my degree to capture still images and video footage of the big cats and grey wolves.
