Trace Austin

Trace Austin is a 21 year-old international recording artist, actor, songwriter, drummer, and producer, born in Canary Wharf, London, England. From a young age, Trace traveled extensively throughout Europe — including Greece, Italy, France, and Spain — which shaped his global musical perspective and inspired the diverse genres reflected in his sound. At age six, he relocated to the United States and spent his childhood commuting between London and California until he was sixteen. Trace’s artistic foundation was strongly influenced by his grandfather, Otis Williams — founder and original member of The Temptations — who helped guide his early development. Growing up more than four decades after The Temptations reached worldwide fame, Trace joined his grandfather for a series of national media appearances across major outlets such as FOX 5 DC, Good Day Texas (ABC), KTLA Morning Show, and FOX 8 New Orleans. As a musician, Trace’s single “Imposters” reached the Top 5 on VEVO’s Hip-Hop Teen chart. He has collaborated with influential artists and producers, including his recent release “To Da Morning” featuring The Game, and creative work with the legendary Teddy Riley. Trace has also been spotlighted on a Times Square billboard and will be featured on South Park as a character based on his likeness. Trace is rapidly expanding his film and television footprint. He recently starred in a film alongside Zoë Kravitz and Kyla Pratt, currently nominated for an Oscar, and he has a major upcoming Netflix series under UTA featuring King Bach, Kris Jenner, Kid Cudi, Steve Aoki, Ryan Garcia, and Howie Mandel. He has also partnered with Rockstar Games for Grand Theft Auto VI, where his rendition of “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” will be one of the main theme songs. Trace is currently recording a high-profile remake of “My Girl” with an A-list feature and will begin filming his newly booked HBO series in February 2026. On the live stage, Trace has built a reputation as a dynamic headliner, having sold out iconic venues such as The Troubadour, The Roxy, The Regent Theatre, The Fonda Theatre, The Mint, The Fillmore Philadelphia, and the VyStar Arena in Jacksonville. With a global upbringing, a legendary musical lineage, and a rapidly expanding multi-platform career, Trace Austin represents the next wave of international music and entertainment. Trace also is launching a song and music video he has with Lil Uzi Vert. Trace also was featured on the cover of GQ which will be out April of 2026
