Thonny Vargas

My name is Thonny J. Vargas, a Peruvian-American actor and character performer based in New York, NY. I have 8 years of professional character performance experience portraying Spider-Man at the ESRD Outpatient Chronic Hemodialysis Department at MSHS (2017 - Present). In this role, I provide consistent, high-energy character embodiment, improvisational interaction, and compassionate engagement with patients, families, and staff in a demanding clinical environment. This work has taught me discipline, emotional intelligence, and how to hold character with authenticity and heart. In 2023, I was honored to place 2nd at Mr. Peruvian Parade NJ, an experience that strengthened my stage presence, confidence, and live audience connection. I am passionate about acting that connects, uplifts, and leaves a lasting impression. My strengths are character work, live performance, improv, and engaging diverse audiences of all ages. I am currently seeking representation for opportunities in film, television, commercial, and professional character work.
