Tayla Mckenna

Tayla Jayne is an emerging actor who plays 14–19 and brings a warm, bubbly energy paired with strong dramatic instincts. She has trained in acting since the age of eight and continues to take classes to refine her craft. Tayla’s strengths lie in dramatic, quirky, comedic, and naturalistic roles, and she especially enjoys exploring characters opposite to her own personality — quiet, shy, and stand-offish individuals. Her screen credits include Better Man (dir. Michael Gracey) as a schoolgirl, voice-over looping for the Netflix series Surviving Summer, and a featured café customer role in the ABC series Summer Love. A lifelong performer, Tayla grew up singing and dancing and has a youthful, sweet singing voice with a strong head voice and mix belt. She is skilled in Australian, General American, Texas American, and General English accents, plays volleyball, and is known for her strong work ethic and passion for storytelling.
