Tashawn Rhodes

My name is Tashawn Rhodes, and I am a storyteller at heart. Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, I discovered my love for acting at just six years old and have been pursuing my passion ever since. Now, as a recent graduate of Clark Atlanta University majored in Theater Arts with a minor in Business Administration, I’ve expanded my creative journey to include directing, photography, and videography. On stage, I strive to bring characters to life with authenticity and depth. One of my proudest moments was playing Kisembe in Lynn Nottage’s "Ruined", where I embodied a fearless rebel leader. As 2x President of the CAU Players the first acting troupe at CAU, I’ve also taken my love for theater behind the scenes, directing projects like Love for Our Roots, a student-led production that celebrated identity, resilience, and community.
