Thuy Nguyen

I’m a Dutch Vietnamese-Chinese non-binary actor/filmmaker/commercial model from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I have experience in acting in short films, (web) series (in UK and NL) and commercials. More recently, I played the lead of the non-binary person Kiên in my debut self-written short film Stiletto, which is the first romantic Asian-Dutch LGBTQIA+ short film made in The Netherlands. Stiletto is officially selected for Nederlands Film Festival ‘23. My last film project is my self-written and self-produced short film Coffee House, which is a crime/drama/romance. It will premier at Queer Film Festival Utrecht ‘23. My goal as an actor and filmmaker is to represent the Asian-Dutch (LGBTQIA+) community in The Netherlands and beyond.
