Sumira Phatak

I am a researcher with a background in nutrition, reproduction, and cancer. I have a 25% teaching appointment through underserved institutions of New Mexico, where I teach a wide array of topics to many different students at varying levels across the state. I am also very engaged in science communication activities that provide me the opportunity to interact with the community in multiple settings. Additionally, I grew up pursuing training in both ballet and gymnastics, and am accustomed to performing. Together, these experiences culminate in excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, and a positive attitude- making me an asset to your team. Furthermore, I find this type of work to be very enjoyable and complimentary to my career.
