Sophia Rizzo | NJ/FL Princeton University ‘29 Avid reader/performer interested in translating on screen media from books to raise representation as an Asian American, specifically East Asian. Currently, a NJ resident attending Princeton University and studying molecular biology. I have grown up in Central Florida near Orlando before moving North for University and to be near New York City. The song that best encapsulates my life so far is “A Million Dreams” in the Greatest Showman film. I hope to continue to reach for the stars in everything I set out to accomplish! I am a Rom-com enthusiast with my favorite being How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, especially with the countless Hollywood Tropes referenced about love. I personally believe the meet-cute is something not talked about enough. Right now the market is lacking in the classic 2000s rom-com department. A romantic or not what makes rom-coms so special is that moment where the audience can indulge in the fantasy of perfect love. I hope, if given the opportunity, in my entertainment career to bring to life a classic rom-com so my generation can experience the nostalgia of falling in love one more time. Book boy friends are an important part of growing up and enjoying them on screen is even better.
