About:
Sophia Jurkovich is a 19-year-old actor based in Phoenix. She was a National Finalist in the 2019-20 NYA Showcase; placing 9th among high school freshmen. Her notable performances earned her nominations for the AriZoni Awards and the NYA Awards, where she won for Outstanding Featured Performance as Brooke Wyndham in 2018-19. Currently a Criminal Justice major at Grand Canyon University, she is also a Division I Dance Team athlete. Sophia’s extensive training includes coaching from industry professionals including Brian Friedman, Michelle Larkin, Kayla and Eva Igo, Tessandra Chavez, and more, solidifying her passion for acting and hopes to continue.
