Sophia Downey

Hello, my name is Sophia Downey. I am a 21 year old non-union actress currently located in Indiana (only a few hours from the Chicago, IL area and am willing to travel for work). I became interested in acting as a child after having movie nights with family and saving my money to go to the theater any chance I got. My main goal is to work in Film but would love the opportunity to work in both Film and TV. I want to be in projects that make you think, make you feel and change the way people see the world and their lives after watching. It's my way of making a difference while doing what I love. My training includes the online MasterClasses ran by Natalie Portman, Helen Mirren and Samuel L. Jackson as well as recently Giles Foreman's 3 Hour Character Transformation Seminar. Accents I can portray include English, Southern (various types) and slight Russian, Italian and Spanish accents. I excel at playing Volleyball, Boxing/Kickboxing and Horseback Riding (English and Western).
