Fluent in English and Russian, and has Canadian and Russian Citizenship. Speaks French at a B1 level.
Sofia Radenko began her singing career at a young age as a chorister in the Toronto Children’s Chorus. Currently, Radenko is a student at the University of Toronto completing her Bachelor of Music in Composition, and is under the tutelage of Dr. Darryl Edwards for her vocal studies. She sings with two choirs, the MacMillan Singers of the University of Toronto and the Concreamus Choir. Throughout her ten years of singing with the Toronto Children’s Chorus and two years of singing with Macmillan Singers, she performed at many prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Scotiabank Arena, Roy Thomson Hall, and Meridian Hall. Radenko is an avid choral composer with her latest work Звезды (Stars) premiered by the MacMillan Singers in late January 2025. Some of her recent notable performances include the POPS Goes to the Movies as a soloist with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, COSA Lunar New Year Concert as a soloist, Lord of the Rings in Concert: The Return of the King with the Amadeus and Concreamus choirs, and Cornell University Chorale Toronto Concert and Andrea Bocelli Live in Concert as a member of the MacMillan Singers. Radenko is excited to continue to grow and develop as a composer and performer, seeking new opportunities every day.
