Sister Quintella Caldwell
The outrageously funny Sister Quintella Caldwell’s character was blessed and inspired by her close friend and mentor LaWanda Page (Aunt Esther from the classic TV Show Sanford & Son). Quin Quin began her comedy career in 1986 winning first place in a Chicago night club’s amateur open mic talent competition. Since then she has become a certified comedy legend. Her talents have been showcased with five appearances on BET’S Comic View. She received standing ovations at New York’s famous Apollo Theater, Caroline’s on Broadway and Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas. Quin Quin is also featured in the music videos ”Make It Clap” with Busta Rhymes and Raise it up by Slum Village as well as many many other music videos, stage plays, film, voiceovers and tv commercials.
Sister Quintella continues sharpening her comedic claws receiving standing ovations and rave reviews opening for The Bad Girl of Comedy Luenell’s 2017-2019 “Easily Annoyed Comedy Tour”. This feisty octogenarian has a rapidly multiplying cross generational fan base at the Improv, Funnybone, Tommy T’s, Helium, Punchline, Laugh Factory and Zanies comedy clubs all across America.
