Shana Simone Wallace

Shana Simone is a Philadelphia-born singer-songwriter and performer renowned for her distinctive blend of gospel, R&B, hip-hop, and jazz—a style she dubs “Gospel R&B.” Her music is both soulful and uplifting, aiming to inspire listeners while keeping them engaged with groovy rhythms. Shana’s musical roots trace back to her early years in the church, where she began singing and developed a deep appreciation for music theory. She also played the cello for seven years during grade school. Immersed in Philadelphia’s vibrant music scene, she collaborated with many of the city’s accomplished musicians, honing her craft in the R&B and jazz sectors. Over the years, she has performed at high-profile events nationwide, including the Steve Harvey Hoodie Awards, the U.S. Women’s World Cup Championships, and the 2023 and 2024 SOAR Awards. Her debut single, “Forgive Me Lord,” garnered six nominations at the Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards. In 2024, she released “Love Light,” produced by Grammy-winning, multi-platinum producer Carvin Haggins. This track has been featured on various radio stations and playlists, further cementing her place in the music industry.
