I am Shakima The Goddess. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I’m a music artist and actress. I have very intense emotions that's captivated in my music and on the screen by portraying different characters, specifically the ones that I can relate to. I need to release this power within me. I have created different bodies of work through my poetry and my music. My passion comes from my struggle and my pain. My passion comes from being a survivor. I’m a hustler because I started from the bottom several times, when I didn’t have one red cent to my name and in the hole. I am a superwoman because I am resilient. Not one person on this earth can make me or break me. I am a real one because I’m transparent and honest about what I been through, overcame and soon will accomplish. God First.
