**Biography:**
Hailing from Tijuana, Baja California, Sara has built a robust career in the performing arts since 2009, debuting in the musical "The Adventures of Robin Hood" under the direction of Jesús “Chuy” Padilla an awarded Ariel actor in México. In 2011, she enrolled in the Bachelor of Theatre program at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), collaborating on productions led by acclaimed artists such as Gilberto Corrales, Jonathan Tovar, Constantino Hernández, Ramón Verdugo, and Bárbara Perrín.
Her artistic journey has been further enriched through participation in prestigious festivals, including the University Theatre Arts Encounter, the State Festival of Performing Arts, and Tijuana Hace Teatro, along with workshops conducted by industry luminaries like Dora Arreola, Carlos Valencia, Adriana Duche, and Anatoli Lokachtchouk. In 2016, she was awarded a scholarship from the Universidad Veracruzana during the World Theatre Day Festival and participated as an executive producer for "Adiós Micaela," directed by Bárbara Perrín supported by PECDA.
In 2018, Sara taught circus arts in "My Days in the Circus," a project by the Baja California Institute of Culture at DIF shelters. From 2019 to 2021, she was part of the Escénica Espacio Invisible Company, performing in improvisational theatre pieces like "The Lost Texts," and representing Volant, an artistic circus residency at CEART Tijuana.
Most recently, in March 2025, she premiered her interactive solo show "The Problem with Ximena Fichekovich," written by Bárbara Perrin Rivemar and co-produced with Teatro en Resistencia, a distinguished company in Baja California directed by Yoall Morales. This production was selected for a season at the Centro Cultural El Hormiguero, recognized with a Metro award for best independent venue in Mexico City 2024, and featured in the inaugural Oaxacan Independent Theatre Festival.
Currently, Sara is expanding her artistic horizons in both audiovisual and theatrical fields to further develop her craft and reach new platforms.
