Sara-Ann Bailinson

Sara-Ann, a multi hyphenate theatre artist based in New England. With a BA in Acting from Plymouth State University, extensive Shakespearean training through Shakespeare & Company, continued theatre training through The Actors Conservatory, and a dynamic range of performance credits, I bring a grounded, text-driven approach to character work that translates powerfully from stage to screen. My theatrical background includes leading and supporting roles in The Tempest, The Wars of The Roses, and Silent Sky, under the direction of artists such as Nafeesaa Monroe and Niki Tulk. These productions honed my skills in complex text analysis, nuanced emotional storytelling, collaborative ensemble work, as well as the ability to play multiple roles at once, going from a tragic queen to a clown and back again-qualities I believe are essential in film and television performance. I also bring special skills in dialect work (French, Irish, Scottish, and more), stage combat, improvisation, impressions, intimacy choreography, and vocal versatility, offering a flexible range for diverse casting needs.
