Hailing from the vibrant artistic community of Decatur, GA, Santresa is a multi-talented actress and filmmaker with a passion for storytelling that knows no bounds. With a diverse background in acting classes, workshops, and self-produced projects, she has honed her craft and cultivated a deep understanding of the art of performance. As an actress, Santresa has also delved into the realm of filmmaking, showcasing her diverse skill set behind the camera. In 2022, Santresa had the privilege of directing, filming, and producing her debut short film, "Kicked Back." This project not only allowed Santresa to explore her creativity but also provided her with invaluable experience in the filmmaking process. Santresa is proud to share that "Kicked Back" was recognized as a Semi-Finalist in the esteemed Paris International Short Film Festival for First-Time Filmmakers in December 2022 and also received acclaim at the Atlantic Bridge Festival in March 2023. These milestones have not only validated her dedication to the craft of filmmaking but have also fueled her passion for storytelling. While initially conceived as a three-part web series, Santresa's creative journey took an unexpected turn during the filming of the second installment, "The Get Back." Inspired by this evolution, she made the bold decision to pivot towards transforming the project into a cohesive and powerful full-length feature film, titled "Closure." She has meticulously crafted the script for "Closure," which has been officially registered with the Writer's Guild of America. Through these experiences, Santresa has honed her abilities as a storyteller and filmmaker, further enriching her perspective as an actress.
