I, Duarte, just Do Art?☯️ RYAN DUARTE (508) 728-2325 | [email protected] DJ/Producer/Stagehand/Ent./Model/Actor Height: 5'7 Weight: 165 Experience: 10+ years DJ (Colosseum, DaVinci, Thirsty Whale, Incognito, Greasy Luck Vault + many more local bars, college&underground parties, weddings, birthdays etc.) 4+ years Production (SoundCloud Song Contest Winner, worked with Ill.Gates, published short films content, music videos etc.) As a Stagehand at the clubs/lounges, a typical day included: • Marketing/ Advertising •Performing the load-in and load-out of band equipment and rental equipment •Assist audio & lighting crew as directed •Prepare any band set changes •Ensure that members of the band(s) have required items needed to perform the show •Responsible for communicating the details of the evening’s event to production crew •Responsible for hanging show banners, updating marquees and other signage in the venue • Assist lighting and audio crew as directed by stage manager or production manager • Assist with maintenance and repair of sound, light and stage equipment • Maintain and secure house backline and supplies • Maintain curtains, drapes, risers and other staging items • Assist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc. • Assist lighting crew with fixtures, cabling, etc. • Operate and care for stage areas in a safe, clean manner • Assist with any special events operations • Ensure stage trash is taken out; stage swept or set up for next show when needed • Other duties to be assigned based on venues requirements Skills/Qualifications: • Years of previous experience in live event production & performances • Experience with stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • interpersonal communication and organizational skills • Personal Trainer (willing and able to complete any task both physical/ mental) • Crowd Control (Always working in an environment with moderate to loud noise level and extreme lighting changes) Colosseum was the first club to take me in and show me the ropes of the Entertainment Industry and the In’s and Out’s of maintaining each respectable outlet/venue.
