The objective of level devil is deceptively simple: reach the door to exit the level and advance to the next. There are 16 levels in total, a seemingly short run. However, the game breaks every expectation and convention established by decades of platforming: Solid-looking platforms disappear the moment you step on them. Conversely, empty air might suddenly materialize a platform mid-jump, saving you—or leading you to your doom.
