About:
Rhonda Glanton, a native of New Orleans, was born and raised in the Church of God in Christ. She began singing as a child, displaying a special talent that grew through performances locally, nationally, and internationally. Rhonda has acted and sang in several stage plays, provided background vocals for numerous artists, and toured Europe with Jamalar Entertainment. She was a lead vocalist with the gospel group Salt of the Earth and has recently released her first solo project entitled “Release the Sound”.
Rhonda aims to inspire and encourage all people by offering hope, comfort and motivation through the uplifting and affirming message in song .
Rhonda earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from William Carey University, is currently pursuing a Psychiatric Mental Health NP and Doctorate of Nursing at Chamberlain University, and is a Regional Vice President with Primerica Financial Services. Rhonda is the President of the Youth Department of the Louisiana Greater New Orleans Jurisdiction and also serves as Chairperson of Auxiliary In Ministry ( A.I.M.) . Her keen attention to detail, compassion and dedication makes her presence invaluable. Rhonda currently resides in New Orleans, La and has 2 adult children and 8 grandchildren. She is a member of the Full Gospel International Church of God in Christ, where she is a Licensed Evangelist Missionary, and she is pastored by Bishop Charles E. Brown. Rhonda’s motto is Love God, Love People, Make an Impact.
