RAYAN HAMDA BARHOUMI

Rayan Hamda Barhoumi is a French actor and model based in Cannes. He entered creation through music, under the name Lytcheess. He released the albums Metalogical, Lytchee and Jackrabbit Vol.1, the EP Wavu Sorya, and the single Lytcheess the Prodigy. An electronic and phonk writing with cinematic textures, composed entirely on FL Studio and conceived from the outset as the soundtrack to narrative universes. In 2026, The Reclamation of Abberossa was released, a three minute short film he wrote, directed, and performed. He portrays Ymir, in a desert empire ruled by conquest and gold, where a woman born on the side of power witnesses oppression becoming law and breaks. The film condenses in three minutes the obsessions running through all his work: irreparable fault, responsibility, and the porous boundary between protection and violence. In parallel, he develops written work: L’opportunité d’être dur à cuire, Jackrabbit, Abberossa: A Chronicle of the Returning One. Jackrabbit exists as a conceptual universe expressed through narrative and soundtrack, not as a distribution project. His acting and modeling work is built around an immediately recognizable visual identity black eye patch, pared down tailoring, monochrome silhouette, placing him at the intersection of genre cinema and fashion imagery. He is represented as a model by É1 Models. During the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, he spoke at AfroCannes on the panel The Actor's New Screen & Voice: From Cinema to Vertical, AI & Beyond, dedicated to the transformation of the actor’s craft in the face of vertical formats and AI tools. His work has been the subject of interviews in IndieActivity and Film Daily, both based in United States. He lives and works in Cannes.
