INTRODUCTION:
My name is Randall Jamal Collins, and I go by the stage name of “RJ Collins,” I am a 27-year-old talent who has successfully launched a career in acting, recording, writing, and performing R&B, Pop, and contemporary music. I also act and have been in some local plays produced by John Ruffin and Richard Gallion.
EDUCATION
I have a high school diploma. I graduated from Alan B. Shepard in May 2016.
CURRENT PROFFESSION
I am currently a licensed realtor and a police officer.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
In 2016 I appeared on the “Voice” season 12. I have performed on the main stage at the Black Women’s Expo 2019, The taste of Chicago, Festival of Life to name a few pre-pandemic events. I just finished doing the Phyllis Hyman Story that Started in February 2022 and is still running currently in 2025. I did a play with Richard Galion called 1800s vs 2020. Recently, I opened for Josh K at the Promontory.
VOLUNTEER WORK
I play the keyboard at church and teach and direct the children’s choir.
FUN FACTS
Music is my life. I write and compose music in all my spare time and sing in Plays. I also fly back and forth from Chicago to Atlanta to write songs with Drummer Boy an award-winning producer.
