Paeman Arianfar

Sakhi Jan Arianfar known as Paeman Arianfar in the cinema industry of Afghanistan was born in 1986 in Kabul. He started his acting career in 2009 in Kabul by starring as one of the lead actors in a drama series named Salam with Moby Group (a division of Lemar and Tolo TV). After playing the main role he got a proposal from Moby Group to become a director. He began his studies in film directing and lighting at Kaboora Production, a film company and school in Kabul as well as at Tora Bora Film Company, a program sponsored by the British Embassy in Kabul. Meanwhile, he continued his work with the second season of Salam. He also starred as the main character in three additional TV dramas such as The Ministry, Innocent Heart and The Defenders. He has directed The Secret of Our House and Kabul Innocent Heart, and Sheren, all drama series produced by Lemar and Tolo TV. He has also produced and directed many other documentaries and short films which have been selected in my film festivals as official selections. He has been living in France since 2017 where he is continuing his film studies and working on different projects and commercial advertising assignments. He has worked in Le Prince Oublié directed by Michel Hazanavicius as well as in Assoiffés directed by Jeremie Elkaim. He was member of international jury in SFTF international film festival ShowCase in 2020, His commercial advertising work includes an advertisement En Parler C’est Déjà Se Soigner for France Health or Santé Publique France, lastly he was a member international jury of Sedicicorto international film festival in Forli, Italy.
