Oumou Fofana
About:
Oumou Fofana is a grounded, emotionally present actress with a natural on-camera ease and strong sense of connection. She is drawn to dramatic roles in contemporary television and indie film, including law-, journalism-, and social-issue–driven stories, as well as coming-of-age narratives and relationship-driven scenes. She often fits strong supporting roles such as the best friend, young professional, sister, daughter, or other thoughtful, capable women navigating real-world stakes. She is currently training in on-camera scene study at LS Acting Studios in New York City and has been accepted into the New York Film Academy’s acting for film program in Florence, Italy, as well as introductory acting training at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). With a background in dance and a career as a journalist and reporter, she brings physical awareness, emotional intelligence, and lived experience to her work.
