Oliver Crooms

Oliver J. Crooms IV (Ollie), founder of Carolina Film Festival, has over fourteen years of experience in the music industry, music video production, independent film, and film festival communities, and is a leader with a unique combination of skills. Oliver founded Carolina Film Festival in 2018 with the vision of creating a lasting and sustainable impact in the Carolinas film community. Oliver is an actor and has been in many films and tv shows such as "Couch Party" (Tubi), "The Midnight Butcher" (Roku), and many more. Oliver has also been featured in commercials such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Goodwill, and more. In addition to working with film festivals and acting, Oliver made his mark in the music industry before he ever picked up a camera. Oliver graduated from Winston Salem State University with a degree in Music Business Management and Merchandising. He has notably worked with EMI Gospel Recording Label and Publishing, produced music for award winning artists, and worked with Hinge Studios to work with Kanye West on his "Graduation" album.
