Ohkyung Kwon

I'm writing this for the Bear season 4 theatre attendee extra casting call. I am a scientist who has lived in Chicago since 2008, and an avid theatregoer. I subscribe to and occasionally volunteer at many Chicago theatres. I often attend more than 20 theatre shows each year (except in years when I have extended collaborations out of town). Unfortunately I have little acting experience -- I am a physicist studying quantum space-time (both its philosophical/theoretical foundations and real laboratory experiments) -- but I can most definitely play the role of a theatre patron because I am genuinely one in real life. I was invited to be on the junior council of the League of Chicago Theatres (which I unfortunately had to decline because of my work commitments -- I do not sign up for things I cannot responsibly show up to). I am a minority co-owner of a gym that is two blocks from Mr. Beef, so I have been following the filming all these years. I love The Bear for its emotional depth and its complex exploration of trauma and love. Asian male of average build, 5' 9.5", around 170lbs, age 39 but looks young and usually gets mistaken as 20s.
