He has acted all his life. Ever since he was a little child he made sure he tried out for every single play (and he did act) in elementary school, middle school, and high school. After graduating high school, he studied modern languages and he became a State of New York Spanish court interpreter. He worked in Brooklyn and Queens Family and Criminal Courts. He also worked as a freelance translator. After 9/11, he joined the US Marine Corps. After many years, he went back to his artistic roots. He started his studies at Academia Charlot in Colombia. He then attended the Focus Movie Academy in Florence. Last, but not least, he attended the New York Film Academy in Burbank, California, where he attained his BFA in Acting for Film and Television with Summa Cum Laude recognition. He also studied screenwriting, directing, and producing at San Francisco Film School. He has acted in over eighty shorts, three feature films, and three pilots. He has also been in several commercials. Last year, he wrote, produced, and directed a music video and three shorts, to include a psychological thriller and two comedies. Born in the United States and raised in Colombia, South America, this actor keeps exploring the diverse world in which he lives. With a command of English and Spanish, an intermediate knowledge of French and Italian, and a beginner level in Brazilian Portuguese, Greek, and Japanese, this multicultural and multiethnic artist takes more than a serious approach to his craft. He develops characters, while understanding and respecting the complex environment from which they come. Having traveled and spent time in every continent, Nestor has had first hand exposure to the realities with which others are confronted on a day to day basis. His charisma and desire for higher human intellect and purpose are the ingredients that will contribute to take your film to the next level.
