Nacio Baron

My name is Juan Carlos Abud Jr. I was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Dominican parents. I grew up in New York as a kid surrounded by loving family members and friends. Ended up moving to Miami, Florida in the summer of 1993 with my family. And from there on a lot of things changed. No more winters as the kid cuddled up wrapped in a blanket infront of the Tv screen watching cartoons and movies. But now I was forced to really go and play outside, it didn't take long before I made lifelong friends, to spruce up the spirit of competition and the hormonal age of adolescents. But it allowed me to really take in my surroundings. As a teenager along with my friends we got into a nearby pee wee league, that most of us hold near and dear to our hearts till this day. It was there where our imagination ran wild, and while most of us attended the same high school, we convinced ourselves to join the Actors club. But I was the only one to continue it for my entire high school career. It was a time in my life I dream about over and over now that I'm in my 40's. I felt like we were just in a hurry to grow up that we really didn't take in the joy of experiencing high school for what it really was but that never escaped me. Ever since I graduated I chased that feeling of being infront of a crowd, be it by music, or acting out characters while at work. I just couldn't stop. And that's a good thing because I was introduced to the world of professional wrestling. And I ended up finding a new play ground to play on. I used this new venue to catapult my ideas, help friends within the wrestling business with their creative endeavors and also create my own alter ego Nacio Baron, and although I wasn't able to garner certain opportunities to make it to the big leagues. I was while in the mix of creating characters, blatantly insulted by a good friend who said I'd make a better writer then performer. Not sure if it was compliment or an insult at the time, hell I still don't. But he was on to something, because ever since then any little story I come up with I end up turning it into an outline for a short or feature film to be written in the near future. I pushed myself to gather up as much knowledge I could to atleast get my ideas off the ground. And I've never looked back. And although I haven't given up on music, acting or even wrestling for that matter I feel that writing is really where my heart is, that's of course till I gain enough knowledge and experience to put myself behind the camera…
