Molly Ashleigh

I started dancing at the age of 3 in Canberra. While in Canberra, I completed ISTD exams at Classical Ballet Centre Canberra under Lorraine Bennett (Ballet: Grade 3-Advanced 2) (Modern: Intermediate Foundation-Advanced 2). I trained in many styles including ballet, modern, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and tap. I then moved to WA in 2022 to attend the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. While at WAAPA, I trained in styles including ballet, contemporary, pas de duex, hip hop, neo-classical, and aerial silks and trapeze. I graduated in 2024, leaving with a Diploma of Professional Dance, an Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance, and a Bachelor of Arts (Dance). Since graduating, I have been freelancing and auditioning. In 2025, I toured children's ballets in regional WA with Barking Gecko Arts, I took part in two developments with a local choreographer, I performed with Link Dance Company, and joined Fever Up for a performance in Singapore. This year, I have joined a not-for-profit company started by Andries Weidemann called Big Little Ballet.
