Michael Robinson

My name is Michael Robinson, and I was born on May 23, 1994. I grew up between the North Side of Wilmington, Delaware, and Raleigh, North Carolina, two places that shaped my perspective, my personality, and most importantly, my passion for entertainment. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to performing—whether it was making people laugh, capturing a room with my energy, or stepping into a character and bringing a story to life. My journey as an artist began in high school, where I discovered my love for acting onstage. One of my most memorable experiences was performing in Romeo and Juliet, where I had the opportunity to play Mercutio. That role unlocked something in me—it showed me how powerful storytelling could be and how much joy I found in giving an audience a moment they could feel. After high school, I continued pursuing entertainment in any way I could. I began making music, which allowed me to express myself creatively and emotionally. I also appeared in several music videos, gaining on-camera experience and learning how to bring natural charisma and movement into a visual performance. People often describe me as having a bubbly personality, a can-do attitude, and a genuine love for connecting with others. I carry those traits with me into every opportunity, no matter the size. Though I don’t have an extensive acting résumé yet, I have the passion, discipline, and drive to grow. I’m willing to start anywhere I’m needed, learn from every experience, and put in the work to become the best version of myself as an actor. My biggest dream has always been to see myself on the big screen, telling stories that move people the same way storytelling has moved me. An opportunity to work with Tyler Perry’s team would not only be an honor, but a chance to take one step closer to that lifelong dream. I’m ready, I’m committed, and I’m excited for whatever comes next.
