Michael Janetakes

ike Janetakes has been painting since childhood. He works in many mediums as well as sculpture however, his preferred method is watercolors. He has also been involved in the media and public relations arena for over thirty years including, identity branding, museum exhibits, sculpture, desktop publishing, wholesale markets and advertising campaigns (including small town promotions and parades). Also he is passionate about performing in film (an ACTRA member) and theatre and song (ran a chamber choir for a few years). Mike has always been active in the community - was a member of the Lion's Club and was on the special events committee in Minden helping organize events in the community. He was a host on CANOE FM. He spent the last few years in Haliburton running a resort in Minden,and in recent years an apartment building manager and superintendent in Toronto. Mike is now perusing his passion, fine art, design and acting. while living on the shores of Humber Bay -
