Mia Shea
About:
Mia Shea is a 16-year-old competitive dancer from Long Island, New York, training at Elegant Dance Studio. A two-time Title winner, Mia has developed her skills across multiple styles, including tap, hip-hop, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theater.
In addition to her studio training, Mia is a member of her high school’s award-winning dance team, the Raderettes, who earned the title of 2024 Long Island Dance Champions. She has performed in Men in Motion in Times Square, modeled for JD Dancewear in New York City, and appeared on the second season of the Dance Moms reality show.
Mia is currently pursuing advanced training through a mentorship program “The Business of Dance” with Menina Fortunato. She has trained with professional dancer Kelly Sweeney the Choreographer of Rise Of Red from Disney’s Descendants as well as members of the Radio City Rockettes along with several workshops with the members of the Brooklyn/Long Island Nets Professional Dance team. Her performance experience also includes filming an episode of That Girl Lola, as to be a part of podcast taping with Kelly Sweeney and Menina Fortunato.
Expanding beyond dance, Mia recently had the opportunity to walk the runway as a fashion model at New York Kids Runway Show. Passionate and driven, she is exploring dance as a future career while continuing to refine her artistry and versatility on stage and in front of the camera.
