About:
Having begun dancing at the age of 3, Melissa (she/her) is a passionate, queer performer with a love for all things stage. She has just graduated from a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Musical Theatre and Acting) from Federation University, and most recently appeared as Fastrada in Pippin, during her studies. Additionally, she has trained extensively in all styles of dance, from ballet to jazz to acrobatics! Some of Melissa’s favourite theatre credits include Serena, Legally Blonde and Emily Brent, And Then There Were None (St Helena Secondary College).
Melissa’s achievements include Dance Captain 2022 of St Helena Secondary College and Juanita Coco Award Recipient (2022). She also directed her first play at 18; A Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon (SHSC). In her spare time, Melissa teaches performing arts, dedicated to inspiring a next generation of performers.
