Matthew Gasperino

Matthew Gasperino currently resides in Tampa, FL, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (“BA”) degree from the University of South Florida (“USF”) College of Design, Art, and Performance, School of Theater and Dance in December 2025. In addition to the basic curriculum studied while earning his BA degree, he spent a semester at the USF School of Theater in Paris Program, where he gained experience with acting, movement, and drama. In the summer of 2025, he completed a four-week Intensive Shakespeare Summer Program at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (“LAMDA”), where he refined his dramatic acting skills and was awarded a Short Course Certificate. For the summer of 2026, Matthew has been accepted into the Stella Adler Studio of Acting Summer Conservatory, which approximates a full term of Stella Adler’s Professional Conservatory and NYU Tisch School of the Arts’ curriculum. While he has pursued an intensive academic program in theatre and dance at USF, Matthew has had acting experience by being cast in a variety of roles in dramas, comedies, and musicals (see his resume for specific plays and roles). He also had the opportunity to direct two productions, “In the Winter” and “Absolutely Anonymous,” to round out his acting experience. In addition to Matthew’s experience with acting and directing, he has also worked behind the scenes, serving as a stagehand, working the lightboard, and hanging and focusing lights for a variety of productions. These experiences allowed him an appreciation of the numerous aspects that go into a theatrical production. Matthew is seeking experience to continue to develop his theatrical expertise.
