Matthew Clark

Matthew G. Clark is a theater and film actor based in New Jersey with a strong background in classical, musical, and comedic performance. Regional and NYC credits include Othello Et Al (Iago) with Alchemical NYC and Commedia dell’Arte productions with The Electric Theatre Company. Favorite stage roles include Francis Flute (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Pinocchio (Shrek: The Musical), Lefou (Beauty and the Beast), Judas (Godspell), and William Barfee (Spelling Bee). Matthew trained at Marywood University, studying acting under Dr. Mershel and Heather Stuart with a focus on the Stanislavski method, and voice through the Linklater technique with Anne Brady. He has four years of vocal training and performs as a bass. Additional skills include improv, accents, character voices, and technical theater. Matthew enjoys creating bold, grounded characters with humor and heart.
