Matt Currie

I’m a Toronto-based actor and recording artist with experience in live performance and on-camera work. Currently studying acting at Toronto Film School, I bring a grounded, adaptable approach to dramatic, comedic, and commercial roles. Beyond acting, I have a diverse skill set that includes singing, rapping, songwriting, public speaking, improvisation, customer service, and live event performance. I’m athletic and comfortable with hockey, skating, gym training, running, and general physical movement. I also have a strong technical background as a Computer Science graduate, making me quick to learn direction, adapt to new environments, and work efficiently on set. I’m passionate about collaborating with creative teams, taking direction well, and bringing authenticity to every performance. Open to film, television, commercials, background work, music videos, and new media productions.
