Marcus Kreiger
About:
Marcus Kreiger is a musician, music producer, and model based in NYC. His experience as a model comes mostly from lifestyle shoots, both photo and video for major drum and percussion brands. He is currently creating Influencer/Ambassador style content for one of the leading musical instrument distributors in the US, providing video demonstrations, product modeling and promotional videos.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance from the Hartt School of Music and has studied and performed with drumming masters in Cuban, Haitian, West African, Brazilian and Middle eastern traditions. Marcus is also Professor of Cuban/Haitian Percussion at the Hartt School of Music and regularly hosts clinics, guest lectures and university-level masterclasses and notable institutions.
As a music producer, his innovative sound has caught the attention of music supervisors in the sync licensing world, resulting in placements on TV networks such as the History Channel and Discovery Channel. In addition to his successful work in sync licensing, Marcus recently produced an original video at the Alexander Berggruen Gallery in Manhattan for artist Gabriel Mills' exhibition “Butterfly March.” These skills as a video producer are coupled with over 6 years of experience as an on-set Production Assistant, during which time he has also stepped up as Second Camera, Assistant Director for a remote shoot, and Grip. Marcus has a clear understanding of each of the moving parts required for a successful production - this empathy, plus his uncompromisingly authentic personality and inspiring nature - make him great to work with as a model talent.
