Malin Glade
About:
My name is Malin Glade. I believe that acting is the art of empathy, the act of bridging gaps. Film and theatre provide something that we as people crave and need. I love playing roles that allow me to dive further into the human experience and push the edges of what individuals can handle, all within the safety and catharsis of imagination. I try to embody a moto used in my favorite novel, Station 11, that reads "survival is insufficient." I am a BFA acting student at BYU, having trained in stage and film acting in philosophies originated by Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagan, and Constantine Stanislavsky, as well improv, stage combat, and voice technique. Additionally, I have advanced equestrian experience, with an emphasis in English show jumping, but also experience in western, bareback, and basic vaulting.
