Mackenzie Burtt

Mackenzie Burtt discovered her love for dance at a young age and started in jazz and tap when she was 3 and went on to begin her ballet and contemporary journey when she was 14 years old. She trained at renowned schools in the US and beyond such as Ballet Arizona, Ballet West Scotland, Next Generation Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet School. She was also a Pre Professional Company member with Complexions Contemporary Ballet and performed with them in their 26t* season at the Joyce in New York City. In her professional career, Mackenzie has worked with companies all around the Northeast such as Brooklyn Ballet, City Ballet of Boston, Neglia Ballet and Jersey City Ballet. She also spent time on the west coast dancing for Ballet Project Orange County. For 2 years, she was a full-time company member with Connecticut Ballet and performed soloist roles such as Ponytail Girl from Bob Fosse's "The Frug" and Prayer soloist in "Coppelia". In 2024 she toured around the USA with Grand Kyiv Ballet, traveling to major cities and performing at theaters like the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN and the Winspear Opera House in Dallas, TX. Mackenzie has also worked with many NYC based jazz and contemporary choreographers including Al Blackstone, Adrian Lee, Steven Blandino, Danielle Diniz, Josh Assor, Barry Kerollis, Sam Lobel, Ariana Andretta, and Minnie Lane. Her choreographic experience includes a neoclassical piece she set on Jersey City Ballet called "Sinatra Suite" in 2021 and a full length Nutcracker Suite production for a pre professional studio in Greenwich, CT in 2024. Mackenzie is currently on contract with Fever performing in their "Ballet of Lights" productions of Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, and
