Lowell Irby

I was into acting when I was extremely young, started out in the missoula children's theater in New Mexico. I was a sea horse in a production of Little Mermaid when I was about 5 or 6 years old, and for a while I didn't get many roles until I became 11. I did one more play for the children's theater before it got shut down in the southeastern part of New Mexico in a hillbilly version of Beauty and the Beast. In that I was casted as the prince before he turned into the beast and then another gap in my acting history until Junior High. In my hometown, junior high is 8th grade through 9th grade and theater wasn't a part of the curriculum. My English teacher, at the time, was co directing Bram Stroker's Dracula with the Drama teacher and I was there for all rehearsals for extra credit to interview some cast members. Then the actor who was supposed to play Harker, quit a month before the play was supposed to show. There was no understudy, and the Drama teacher asked the English teacher if it would be ok if I can play Harker since I was there for all the rehearsals. I worked hard and made sure I knew the script frontwards and backwards while a few other actors helped me out an hour before rehearsals. I played Harker for Dracula then I sent out from there during my high school career in the drama program. I got casted as Macbeth in a comedy play called The Audition, Geppetto in Pinocchio, a suicide victim called Benny the Bat Boy in Freak, Felix in the Odd Couple, the main Zombie in 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, Tapper the tap-dancing dwarf in Snow White and the Seven Dancing Dwarves and Fallen in the play of the same name as for my last play. My theater group got to be at nationals for AACT Fest in Fallen. Mainly looking forward to getting into some film acting and have fun, which is always a given in this field, can't wait to get started fully. Right now, just looking for some jobs to do around the area, probably will go to other states such as Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Arizona. Rest if the info is down below if you want to contact me.
