Leila Keeney

Born in London, moved to Donegal at age 6. Leila was always aware of her ability to sing from an early age. As a teenager she played various roles in her local theatre plays. It was around this time she began gigging with her soulful bluesy music and has been ever since, either in bands or as a solo artist. After completing her Commercial Modern Music Degree in 2019, she wanted to reignite her love for acting and went on to pursue screen acting at Dublin's Bow Street Academy. Since completing this, she gained a small speaking role in the series 'Kin', starred in a silent film called Stranger Danger and has been making lots of music videos. She is a fan of directors such as David Lynch, the Coen Brothers and Greta Gerwig. She has always been fascinated by human behaviour and strives to dissect her own emotions through her songwriting. She is currently doing a diploma in psychology.
