Latonya Gilliard

A North Carolina native, Latonya is an actress, author, certified Nutritionist, and song stylist. She is a producer of independent films, theatre and web content with Gilliard Media, a Production Company she co-owns with her husband, Carl Gilliard. Currently, they have an active Actors Intensive Class that meets weekly in Atlanta, GA. She is a former member of the North Carolina Black Repertory Company. Her current book, I APOLOGIZE TO MY THYROID, is an insightful look into living with the consequences of medical treatment, and her book, WHAT YOUR MOMMA NEVER KNEW ABOUT MEN; A Guide to Creating Real-ationships, is a clever, common-sense guide that helps women master their feminine power. She is the Founder of the Sistars Workshop Party, where she helps transform mindsets and encourages women to Speak, Heal, and Shine.
