Niya White

Laniya White was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Her grandmother introduced her to dance at the age of 3. Since then, she has trained many genres such as Hip Hop, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Lyrical. Growing up, she mainly trained at a small recreational studio, but once she reached high school, she started to receive additional training at Point Park University. She started off training at their Summer Workshop Intensive, and once the school year started, she started attending their Pre-Professional Dance classes. White is an upcoming choreographer with focus toward hip Hop and modern dance. She is currently continuing her training at Slippery Rock University as a BA Dance Major, with a secondary major in Criminal Justice. She plans to work in commercial dance, aiming to be a background dancer and/or choreographer for different music artists.
