I am a very reliable and hard working person who has had to work twice as hard to make it in certain trades and fields because they were jobs for a man but I made it. I became the first female to be hired on with a concrete waterproofing and restoration company and worked in the field becoming a concrete technician. I have had to overcome sexual harassment and discrimination, I never gave up and I always showed up to work no matter what the guys done to me. I have overcome addiction and 2 very abusive husband's, the 2nd husband almost killed me before I was able to leave but I survived that not only a stronger female but one who knew how to fight back. I still struggle sometimes thinking I'm worthless and not good enough for someone and those days are hard but I push through and continue working on me, making me a better person.
