Kimari Lavender

Born and raised in Springfield, MA, Ki’mari Lavender is a singer, actress, and social media beauty influencer. Previously known by the pseudonym “Miss Lyric”, she began singing in church choirs and joined an after school performing arts program where she trained in vocals, dance, and acting. Her musical theater background began at a young age in elementary school. In high school, she joined a drama class where she learned improv and monologue preparation. After graduating from college with an associates degree in Art History, Lavender discovered her love for beauty and skincare. In late 2018, she began posting videos on social media showcasing her makeup artistry skills. She then went on to earn her certification as a makeup artist. Beyond that, her love for acting and singing never left. Lavender’s biggest musical inspirations such as Beyonce and Aretha Franklin fueled her drive to write and record her own R&B music. Lavender most recently was cast in a production of “Dreamgirls” at Schenectady Light Opera House in Schenectady, NY. She continues to work and train in her craft.
