Kaz Nystedt

Greetings, my name is Kaz Nystedt, I am 20 and I am from Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada. Starting things off, I absolutely love art, in all forms. Art and expression is very special to me and has pushed me to have a searing passion for whatever comes my way. I love to be open minded to new things, which goes perfectly with my desire to learn more everyday. If something goes wrong, I always veer off to make something new, as well as make things follow accordingly to the path that I have chosen. Growing up, I had a rough upbringing, although my parents loved me, they had issues being together and taking care of me. When I was 9, I moved in with my aunt, in Edmonton, Alberta, where I worked very hard on learning proper language and education. I leaned towards performing arts, sports and music. In school, I played basketball, badminton, soccer and even track and field! I’ve earned plenty of nominations and even earned 3rd place in Edmonton for Javelin, contending against other schools. I’ve taken lots of extra classes including, art, photography, drama(where I had a performance of humour, in front of students and parents), improv, foods, choir(where I practiced and performed at a hockey stadium for an Oilers game) and band. More specifically with music, I’ve travelled to different cities playing the Baritone, Tuba, Bari-saxophone. I’ve even got the opportunity to be apart of a special Edmonton band by the name, Honour band, where we performed in front of hundreds of people. More of a personal instrument I have played is piano. I played piano for 8 years, doing a few exams and coming to a high level. When I got to the age of roughly 17, I had moved out on my own and bounced around for a bit. The first placed I moved to was my best friends place. He is also a great actor, performing in many variety shows. He has taught me many things, and I would not be here without him. Then I became homeless for a bit and got an opportunity to move to British Columbia. My dad got me a job as a longshoreman of the BCMEA. I’ve done many different jobs in my life, including hard labour, working as a cashier and driving machinery,etc. Anyways, that’s a little bit about me.
