Kaya Chamanara

Danish born woman to an Iranian mother and Kurdish father. I look younger than my age, having played ages between 19-29 years. My looks are also flexible - being constantly mistaken as Mediterranean/South European or mixed Scandinavian. I took archery classes when I was a teenager, as well as drama lessons and choir classes. Much later, I briefly studied filmmaking in Paris (ESRA). I’ve taken voice acting courses, as well as acting lessons under the Danish actress Genie Argiris with focus on Chubbuck technique since 2023. I’m familiar with Danish, English, German, Persian, Kurdish. I speak closest to American English, however, am able to imitate accents/dialects upon hearing them. I’m currently an extra in the Danish play Peters Christmas (Peters Jul) as a poor woman and rich woman. I have endless experience acting in short films (in lead and supporting roles). I’ve also been an extra in numerous movies and tv-series as a punk bartender, doctor and nurse to name a few.
