Kala Winn

Born in Amarillo, TX--moved to DFW on account of my dad's coaching career. I come from a humble, hard-working, no excuse background. I have been working since I was 13, most of the time while participating in more than one activity (athletics, etc.). I played softball in college until I got hurt. I have worked a plethora of different occupations--bartending, leasing, mineral agent, and most recently teaching/coaching. I hold a tremendous amount of empathy. I have both dark and light in me, but I have worked really hard on my inner growth in the last 4 years after tragedy struck my family. I believe that acting would be second hand nature as I can draw from many of my life's experiences and paired emotion(s) to reflect a scene/character. I am very family oriented, and into songwriting and art in my spare time. I’m not chasing clout. I’ve actually tried to avoid it most of my life, but I realize that if I combine all my experiences, talent, and passion toward something greater I may be able to ambassador for those who I’ve been and understand.
