Julie Ballou DeMarco

I’m a law enforcement sergeant with more than 20 years of experience in the Vancouver area, with a background in patrol, investigations, supervision, crisis negotiation, missing persons, internet crimes against children, and digital forensics. I’m comfortable on camera and have previously worked as an extra in several film and commercial productions, conducted several on camera media interviews regarding high profile cases, as well as participated in extensive on-camera interviews for two true-crime documentaries about the murder of Nikki Kuhnhausen, airing on A&E and Hulu. Outside of work, I love travel and the outdoors and have always been athletic. I played basketball and volleyball in high school, rowed collegiately, and later trained in boxing. I’m comfortable in active, physical environments and especially interested in opportunities where my real-world experience and skills can bring authenticity to a production.
